Since 1997, Springwater Child Care Centre (SWCCC) has provided the highest quality of education and care for young children in Simcoe County. At SWCCC, learning is part of everything we do. We draw from the best practices in Early Childhood Education to create programs and experiences that are interesting and engaging. Our highly qualified Educators keep things exciting every day. It’s a great place to prepare your child for Kindergarten and beyond!

Learning is all around us, it is not simply a process of adults giving information to children. Instead, children discover things through direct hands on experiences because we know that children learn best when they are engaged and interested in what they are doing.

When you visit SWCCC, whether you see children playing together at our learning centres or reading a book you will know they are all learning while having fun!

At SWCCC children will be “learning outside the sandbox” every day.

HiMama

HiMama is a Child Care program utilized at SWCCC that connects parents through digital communication. We create a profile for each child with their specific information. Educators log attendance, share daily reports, send photos and insights of the children and can also record naps, meals, and bathroom breaks. As well we utilize HiMama to invoice tuition fees. Parents are updated through email and can subscribe for free to the HiMama's mobile app.

Our Goals

The goal of Springwater Child Care Centre (SWCCC) is to provide a warm and nurturing environment that will help each child develop into a confident, happy, self-sufficient individual.

SWCCC provides a safe, stimulating environment that supports and promotes an enthusiasm for active learning. Positive early childhood experiences can build a strong foundation for future growth. The developmental needs of each child will be enhanced through a child centred curriculum that is based on activities and programs of the child's interests. Through play experiences and the guidance of our qualified Educators, your child will be exposed to situations that build life long skills.

Our goals are to:

Enhance your child’s development of social skills and a sense of self-worth.
Encourage curiosity, initiative, independence and responsibility.
Develop your child’s ability to express themselves clearly.
Build your child’s self-esteem.
Help your child accept and respect the rights and differences of others.
Increase your child’s awareness of the world around them through a variety of hands on experiences.
Provide opportunities to foster both gross and fine motor development through the use of equipment and "loose parts".
Develop sensory and creative abilities through various media (i.e. art, music, water play, etc.).
Get their bodies moving and grooving.
